What Are You Thankful For?

Even though the stores are encouraging the Christmas hype throughout the Thanksgiving month, I like to remember the meaning of Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for salvation through the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my loving husband, wonderful family and friends.

What are you thankful for?

Fantastically Fall

I just put together a “Treasury” on Etsy. According to http://www.etsy.com, a Treasury is an ever-changing, member-curated shopping gallery comprised of lists of items.  Each Treasury list has 16 items and a theme. My first Treasury’s theme is “Fantastically Fall.”

{The Treasury’s description}”Fall is one of my favorite seasons! The leaves’ colors, the taste of hot apple cider, the smell of a crackling fireplace and the event of family and friends around the Thanksgiving table are some of what make this season special to me.”

Pumpkinly Autumn

A pumpkin is truly one of those special facets of fall. Pumpkins are great for eating, decorating…and putting on cards! Take a look at the newest addition to my etsy shop {PiecefulJoy.etsy.com}. Check out the etsy shop for additional pictures and detailed description for this adorable pumpkin card.

What is Your Favorite Thing About Fall?

Some of my favorite things about fall are drinking apple cider, snuggling up in Grandma’s quilt and watching a good movie on our comfy couch while the warm  fireplace is crackling.

What is your favorite thing about fall?

A Piece of Autumn in an Envelope

Have I mentioned that I LOVE fall? Well, I do!

I found this delightful fabric months ago and wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it (table cloth, place mats, dinner napkins?) but I took it home anyway. While looking for some inspiration this morning, I peeked into one of my fabric drawers and decided that this fabric will have a purpose beginning today! These cards are full of texture and depth: floral fabric, red thread, red sheer ribbon, festive green brads,  brown tag – all on a cardboard note card. I chose warm cardboard note cards instead of  crisp white note cards because how many autumn leaves are a hospital white? 🙂

I thought about stamping some text onto this tag, but decided to leave it up to you! Just think of the possibilities: “Grandma” “Mom” “Thank You” “Hello” “Smile” “Thinking of You” “Congrats” “Autumn!” “You’re Invited!” These 4 customizable pieces of autumn can be yours today! Check it out at PiecefulJoy.etsy.com!
